Police are seeking help identifying a homeless man found slain in Texas who may have family in Michigan.
The Texas Rangers and Fort Stockton Police Department say they're looking for anyone who may have information about the man killed July 28 in Fort Stockton. Police say the man in his 60s or older had said he was trying to return to family in Michigan after several years.
Police say he's between 5 feet 4 and 5 feet 8, and had a partial prosthetic left leg.
Photos of him from security video at a convenience store are posted on the Texas Department of Public Safety website.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Texas Rangers at 432-336-3414 or Fort Stockton police at 432-336-4600.
